The messenger of the Gods, Hermes was revered in Greek Mythology. Moving freely between the Gods and the mortals, this divinity was perceived as being responsible for the realms of travel and boundaries both geographically and emotionally. His understanding of both humankind and the deities along with his strength to manage relations was often represented by three pillars.
